NFL WEEK 14 : Cowboys | Bengals Preview (with FREE play)

When schedule-makers slated this Week 14 matchup out, they were expecting a showdown between Joe Burrow & Dak Prescott. Instead, with two season-ending injuries to these star QB’s, we are left with the Bengals at 2-9-1 & the Cowboys at 3-9.
After playing 133 games in a Bengals uniform, today marks the first time Dalton will be on the opposite side of Cincinnati’s bench. Is this the “Andy Dalton Revenge Game”? The next four weeks are all must-win for the Cowboys to have a shot at the NFC East & their run would have to begin today.
For the Bengals to be successful in this game, they will need to get consistent pressure on Dalton. This has been a struggle for this front-line, as Cincinnati is averaging an NFL-low 2.1 sacks + takeaways per game defensively. However, with a majority of the Cowboys’ line depleted by injuries, this is a great opportunity to up that NFL-low number up.
The Begnals’ offense has been less-than-average since the departure of Joe Burrow. QB Brandon Allen was forced from last week’s game with a chest injury, but claims he is “good to go”. Allen has a chance to feast on a Cowboys’ secondary that is allowing an NFL-high in passing points per attempt (0.56). He is sitting at 58.6% & 57.8% completion percentages over his last two games, & looks to be above 60% in today’s game.
With the Cowboys allowing a whopping 32.8 points per game (most in NFL), & the Bengals wide-receiving corps at full strength, there is solid value on Cincinnati to win their 3rd game of the 2020 season. We would recommend Bengals ML at +140
